Troye Sivan y Nicole Kidman se rodean de arte drag en el videoclip de 'She's the Best'
Troye Sivan invita a la actriz Nicole Kidman para coprotagonizar el videoclip de su nueva canción, She's the Best, que supone el primer adelanto de su próximo álbum de nuevo. Con este proyecto, el australiano rinde tributo a la feminidad por ser "lo único constante" en su vida.

Troye Sivan, uno de los artistas masculinos más destacados del pop anglosajón, empieza una nueva etapa musical con el lanzamiento de su nuevo sencillo: She's de Best, una oda a la feminidad más hablada que cantada.
Para el videoclip, el australiano comparte protagonismo con una actriz de su misma nacionalidad: Nicole Kidman. Bajo la dirección de Gordon Von Steiner, Sivan se erige como la estrella de un club repleto de drag queens. Por su parte, Kidman disfruta de una bebida mientras observa al cantante interpretar su tema. Al final del vídeo, la actriz se une al artista, que ahora aparece vestido de drag —algo que ya había hecho en el vídeo de One of Your Girls (2023)—.
La intención del videoclip es situar a Nicole Kidman como la mujer que describe Troye Sivan en la letra de la canción: "Ella camina por la calle con su pequeño y delgado cigarrillo / Una gran sonrisa y una mancha de semen en su vestido / [...] / Un maquillaje drag rápido, un poco de rubor en las mejillas y en los labios / [...] / Se hartó de mirar atrás, solo mirará hacia adelante / Linda, divertida, puede pelear / Siempre ha sabido que hay algo especial dentro de ella / Humilla a un incel en internet cuando necesita relajarse un poco", dice parte de la letra.
She's the Best es el primer sencillo del cuarto álbum de estudio de Troye Sivan, que verá la luz el 9 de octubre bajo el mismo título. "Es una pintura que captura mi vida en todos sus estados de ánimo y colores", dice el artista sobre el disco. "Explora los momentos de euforia y adrenalina de los últimos años, y la soledad y el anhelo que se escondían bajo ellos. Es caótico, complejo, orgánico, atormentado y lleno de vida. Siento que es la versión más auténtica y creativa de mí mismo que he compartido nunca. En algún momento del camino me di cuenta de que lo único constante en mi vida, lo que me ha mantenido más o menos cuerdo, no ha sido el trabajo ni los hombres, sino lo femenino".
La canción está compuesta por Sivan con George Daniel, Jack Antonoff, Leland y Kaeyln Behr, mientras la producción corre a cargo de los tres primeros con Styalz Fuego.
